Got Fruit - You'll love these pairs!

We asked The Urban Alternative family to share some of the activities and traditions they do with their families during Christmas to focus their hearts and minds on Jesus in the midst of a busy season—and you delivered.

We come from all around the world, from different backgrounds and experiences, but one thing unites us all: our love for Jesus. Enjoy this virtual album, full of Christ-centered holiday traditions from the TUA family, and be encouraged. You may just find a new tradition of your own to try out this year.

HERE’S HOW OUR TUA FAMILY IS
KEEPING CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS:

Leslie H.
Sharing the story of Jesuss birth and seeing the nativity decorations. Our church used to do a live nativity as part of our Christmas Eve service and even though I have yet to find another church that does a family friendly Christmas Eve service with the Nativity, we talk about it more than anything else.
Jennifer C.
We decorate the Christmas tree as a family the day after Thanksgiving. We put on Christmas music and kick the Christmas season off with hymns and praise.
Peggy G.
When my kids were younger, we would always sing "Happy Birthday Jesus " before opening presents.
Ronald J.
Family gatherings, matching pj's, making cookies, watching Christmas movies!
Blanca R.
Preparing warm & freshly baked traditional treats and deliver to our near-by family and neighbors via a traditional Christmas caroling presentation. My children enjoy assisting with the baking and most of all preparing those platters and ringing those doorbells to surprise our neighbors with delicious homemade delights.
Jamie Y.
Making sure to read the birth of Christ.
Maria T.
Filling the Christmas tree with Chrismon ornaments that tell the story of our faith
Troy W.
Christmas at my grandparents house with all the family, beautiful meal, and worshipping Jesus' birth.
Kimely W.
My husband and I make hot coco for our boys when a chocolate ball inside Christmas morning and have family devotions then share gifts of love and appreciation..
