Got Fruit - You'll love these pairs!

We asked The Urban Alternative family to share some of the activities and traditions they do with their families during Christmas to focus their hearts and minds on Jesus in the midst of a busy season—and you delivered.

We come from all around the world, from different backgrounds and experiences, but one thing unites us all: our love for Jesus. Enjoy this virtual album, full of Christ-centered holiday traditions from the TUA family, and be encouraged. You may just find a new tradition of your own to try out this year.

HERE’S HOW OUR TUA FAMILY IS
KEEPING CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS:

Yvonne H.
My precious mother-in-law always reads aloud about Christs birth, from Luke chapter two, to our whole gathered family on Christmas Eve. We also get matching Christmas pajamas and wear them all the next day. Christmas breakfast casserole and hot chocolate are always a big hit also. I love seeing all of my loved ones at the breakfast table.

We always start Christmas Day off with reading from the Bible about the birth of Christ.

Our family has attended 6am Christmas morning services for over 50 years together. Christmas just isnt Christmas if we dont attend.

Every year my whole family comes together to share Christmas dinner with my mom on Christmas Day. After the little ones have time to open their gifts at home we meet at Grandma's house for more gifts and brunch! It's my favorite time of the year.

My family and I wake up on Christmas and read the birth of Christ in Luke 1 & 2. We share what we are thankful to Jesus for and pray together before opening gifts. Since we were little and even now as some of us have children, we take a section to read out loud, and some of us even "fight" to read verse 14 - 21. :)
